Course Information
CTE -Human Services is a one semester elective offered to 7th grade students.  This
CTE -Human Services class teaches practical skills that will contribute to a successful future.

The Units of Study covered in this class will be:

Early Childhood
Hotel Management
Confident Consumer
Career Investigation

Sewing and Design (fee based course)
Pillow Kit Includes Fabric, Thread, and Fiberfill Stuffing

Advanced Sewing and Design (fee based course)
9 week project
Quilt Kit Includes
Fabric, Thread, Batting, Machine Quilting, Backing, and Binding
$80

Basic Sewing (fee based course)
Pencil Case Includes Fabric, Thread, Zipper
$12

Basket Weaving (fee based course)
Kit Includes All Supplies To Make A Three Inch Round Basket

Introduction to Cosmetology- Theatrical Make-up (fee based course)
Theatrical Costume Make-up Kit Includes a Variety of Colors For Skin Application Make-up
$20

Culinary - Art of Desserts (fee based course)
Culinary Kit Includes Cooking Sheet Pan, Piping Bags, 2 Pipping Tips, Measuring Cups and Rubber Spatula,
$20

All fee based courses are optional.
All fee based kits need to be fully paid for before student starts the project.
All fee based courses come with a kit.
All supplies in the kit go home with the student upon the project completion.
